About Ashutosh Short Bio: This bio is suitable for those with a short attention span, who don't care much, or who are looking for a way to introduce Ashutosh Pathak.


I'm an engineer and an innovator at heart, and I'm fascinated by how things work and how to make things work better. Creative attitude, however, is not fit for a white-collar job or a project management mindset.


As a Civil Engineer with a focus on delivery and a willingness to learn how to get the work done, I earned the Project Management Professional Certification (lovingly pronounced "pimp") from the Project Management Institute. However, it did not lessen my basic creative intuition and made me learn and earn Excel Specialist and MCTS (Microsoft Project certifications from Microsoft. I have found an excellent creativity tool in Project Management, MS Excel, and MSP, hence this blog.


My master's in Building Science & Construction Management at IIT Delhi had left me with a burning desire for green buildings; this also helped me earn IGBC's Accredited Professional Certification. To further broaden my horizons, I completed my transdisciplinary PhD at TERI School of Advanced Studies in 2021. Please view my LinkedIn profile for more information.

We have been using complex statistical methods to answer questions like — what the probability of is completing a project in a given timeframe?   We employed the critical path method, incorporating weighted average task durations and the standard deviation of each task, utilizing the mathematical formulas presented in our Project Management course materials.
