ABOUT ME

About Ashutosh Short Bio This bio is suitable for those with a short attention span, who don't care that much, or who are looking for a way to introduce Ashutosh Pathak.

I'm an engineer and an innovator at heart, and I'm fascinated by how things work and how to make things work better. Creative attitude however is not fit for a white collared job or a project management mind set.

My job requirement as a Civil Engineer with focus on delivery and willingness to learn as to how to get the work done resulted in earning me a Project Management Professional Certification (lovingly pronounced "pimp") from the Project Management Institute. However it did not lessen my basic creative intuition. This made me learn and earn Excel Specialist and MCTS (Microsoft Project certifications from Microsoft. I have found an excellent tool of creativity in Excel and MSP and hence this blog.

My masters in Building Science & Construction management at IIT Delhi had left me with a burning desire for green buildings; this also helped me in earning me IGBC’s Accredited Professional Certification. To widen my horizons further I am presently pursuing PhD at TERI University.

I am excited about the possibilities that my passion to Green Buildings and Project Management offer. As both the above areas are evolving so am I. The need to evolve and grow is obvious and therefore I strive not to miss on any learning opportunity. Your comments on various  blogs for increasing our pace of learning are welcome.
